Ace specializes in concrete cutting and coring services, asphalt sawing, x-ray & GPR scanning, and concrete removal and disposal to the ICI (industrial, commercial, and institutional) field, as well as residential customers, general contractors, municipalities and the retail sector. Ace designs and builds special cutting equipment, unique to the industry, to tackle even the most challenging jobs. All Ace trucks come equipped with their own power and water supply.
Serving the Durham Region, and the Greater Toronto Area, Ace was established in 1976 by Mike Blackhurst.
Mike was born in England, but has lived and worked here in Canada for over 40 years. He has over 40 years experience working with and designing concrete cutting machines. With a background in design build engineering, carpentry, welding, and metal fabricating, Mike knows how to tackle just about any job or structure. He prides himself in managing a company that provides reliable, experienced service, while fostering a safe work environment for his employees.

Safety is at the forefront of every service Ace provides, with employees receiving safety training in a full range of areas, including: WHMIS, Level 1 First Aid (CPR), Fall Arrest training, Elevated Lift training, CN/CP Rail safety training, MTO Traffic Manual Book 7 road safety training, and Confined Workspace training.
